The Angolan head of State José Eduardo dos Santos has fired the Minister of Higher Education, Adão Gaspar Ferreira do Nascimento, and appointed the State Secretary Antonio Miguel André, according to the Angola Press Association.
This is contained in a note from the Civil Affairs of the President of the Republic, adding that the President also sacked Alexandre Davide de Sousa Costa, as Secretary of State for Foreign Trade.
In other decrees, José Eduardo dos Santos appointed Francisco José Aleixo Fernandes to the post of Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, while Carlos Alberto Jaime Pinto went to the State Secretary of Agriculture for agricultural business sector.
