Lusaka - Authorities in Zambia have reportedly refused entry into Zambia of controversial Zimbabwean Prophet Uebert Angel who is also the founder of The Good News Church (Spirit Embassy), according to the Zambian Observer.

The 38-year-old Prophet whose real name is Uebert Mudzanire was reportedly turned away on arrival at Lusaka’s Kenneth Kaunda International Airport where he arrived from the United Kingdom (UK) for a crusade scheduled for tomorrow 6th May, 2017 at the Lusaka Showgrounds.

According the the Observer, the Immigration Department spokesperson Namati Nshinka has confirmed that the cleric who is also a prosperity gospel preacher was turned away along with his wife Beverly and two others. They have since returned to the United Kingdom.
Mr. Nshinka however did not indicate why the clergyman is a persona-non-grata (PNG) in Zambia.

Uebert Angel also known for his ‘anointed dolls’ attracts numerous followers through his claims to prophecy and the power to heal. He has however had his own share of controversies in his home country Zimbabwe that prompted his exit from that country.

Mudzanire joins another regional Prophet, Shepherd Bushiri whose entry was restricted by the government of Botswana on 26th April, 2017.
