The Zimbabwe Warriors got a head-start to the Africa Cup of Nations campaign after Knowledge Musona punished the Liberians three times without a reply.
Musona, who is the Warrior’s new captain send fans across the country into celebration following a splendid show that humiliated the visiting Liberians.
With home support and on home ground, the Warriors dominated the match from the onset with Musona, Kuda Mahachi, Marvelous Nakamba and Thabani Kamusoko combining well to form a cohesive soccer machine that troubled the visitors’ defence.
The victory saw the Warriors temporarily go on top of Group G. Zimbabwe and Liberia are in Group G, together with Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
