The player of the tournament Knox Mutizwa opened the scoreline after connecting a header in the first half but the Zambians levelled the scoreline a few minutes from the break.
The Sunday Chidzambwa-coached side came back from the break with verve as Talent Chawapiwa produced a scorcher from Knox Mutizwa rebound header. Ocean Mushure sealed the victory a well-executed long drive which left the Zambian goalie clutching the grass.

The Zimbabwean coach led the Warriors to victory in 2003 and 2009, while his brother Misheck was in charge as Zimbabwe took honours in 2000.
