The Dherira hit-maker Andy Muridzo kept fans on the dance floor during a thrilling show held at Amadoda in Cape Town.
As expected, Baba Keketso, as Andy Muridzo is affectionately known played hit after hit and the small crowd responded jovially to the tunes.
The gig which was expected to attract an an overflow saw a few hundreds attending after the promoters where forced to switch venues at short notice - from Maitland hall to Amadoda.
Dino Mudondo who has reportedly migrated to Cape Town did not disappoint, giving a polished act and taking fans down memory lane with hits like Ndaichakumirira and Makoikoi.
Another Cape Town-based artiste and former Marshal Munhumumwe band member Simba Saini stole the lime light with a sterling performance. Saini is not new in the music industry having played drums for Bob Nyabinde, then co-founded the Makumbe Brothers band with James Nyamandi before moving to Harare where he became a member of the late Marshal Munhumumwe’s band, The Four Brothers, as a drummer.
