Mugabe’s wife, Grace was booed at a ruling Zanu PF rally held in Bulawayo on Saturday and the 93 year old leader was not particulary amused.
A visible angry Mugabe then threatened to drop him from the presidium during his address at the rally.
Grace - who has not hid her interested to take over from Mugabe - has led the onslaught against Mnangagwa, accusing him of plotting to oust the 93-year-old president since 1980.
