Presidential adviser Christopher Mutsvangwa is among the ruling party heavy-weights who lost in the primary election to less-known opponents.


Mutsvangwa known for his huge celebration following the ouster of former President Robert Mugabe, claims that in a letter that his alleged electoral defeat in the Norton parliamentary primary elections was engineered by the police officers in charge of the polls.
