The televangelist and businessman together with his delegation paid a courtesy visit to President Museveni at State House Entebbe.
The delegation also consisted of Bro. Ronnie Makabai of ETM International Church in Kampala.
Museveni wrote on Twitter on Tuesday that the delegation expressed interest in investing in sectors of tourism and pharmaceuticals. He said government is committed to supporting them to do business. “Met Uebert Angel televangelist and businessman who is founder of Spirit Embassy in the UK and Bro. Ronnie Makabai of ETM International Church here in Kampala. They indicated their interest to invest in tourism and pharmaceutical sectors. Government will support them,” Museveni wrote in a tweet.
Uebert Angel, 40, is also the founder of The Angel Organisation which is the parent company for his other business interests. Born and grown in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, Angel later moved to Manchester, England, where he studied nances at the University of Salford. He founded the Spirit Embassy ministry in 2007 and in October 2015, it rebranded its name to the “Good News Church” (sometimes referred to as “Spirit Embassy Good News Church”).
The church ministry currently has 33 branches in 15 countries in Europe and Africa. He has also launched Miracle TV and Good News TV where he carries out regular speaking engagements and broadcasts programs on behalf of the Good News Church.
